To create the subtle, complex pair of bases that make up Preseli, they're mill-blended as tops before spinning. By blending this way, we're able to get a smooth, even top that keeps the deep grey blend, perfect for heathery tones once dyed.
A blend of Polwarth, Romney and Hebridean, Preseli is our softest yarn ever. In a palette of 36 gorgeous colourways, this one is a dream for colourwork.
Origin: Polwarth grown in the windswept Falkland Islands, Romney from small farms in the South West of England, and Hebridean wool from the rugged Scottish Highlands.
