Description
High-twist, worsted-spun Romney and Hebridean make up Snowdonia. Designed from day one as a durable, straightforward base, we're able to achieve the stunning undyed gradient simply by mill-blending the buttery smooth tops.
Everything about Snowdonia is deliberate: the fibre is chosen for its strong, smooth characteristics, the twist has been carefully measured to keep the gorgeous integrity of these two breeds whilst achieving the necessary long-lasting ruggedness of a good, honest sock yarn.
Story: Lovingly made with hand-sorted organic Romney and Hebridean wool and worsted spun in small batches in our mill in West Wales, Snowdonia is a classic fingering weight, perfect for socks, sweaters, and shawls.
Origin: Carefully selected wool grown on family-run, high welfare certified organic farms in Wales, England, and Scotland.
