IT'S ALMOST TIME FOR THE 2024 NORTH TEXAS YARN CRAWL!!!
The North Texas Yarn Crawl starts April 19th and continues through April 28th. The map at the bottom shows all participating yarn crawl stores.
Yarn Crawl bags will be on sale beginning Monday, April 15th.
PLEASE NOTE: Knit Dallas will be opening the following hours during the yarn crawl:
Monday-Saturday: 10am - 5pm
Sunday: 12pm - 5pm
We will not hold our regular Sunday Crafternoons and Wednesday Craftnight during the yarn crawl. You are still welcome to come in and craft during our open hours.
Weekend 1: Wander Luck Fibers
Victoria is a local hand dyer and her color palette is absolutely gorgeous! Knit Dallas currently carries Wander Luck's Sock yarn, lace-weight Suri Alpaca, Wander-Loft, 50/50 fingering weight Wool & Cotton, and fingering weight Alpaca/Linen/Silk Linen Luxe. Come see what else she brings during the Crawl!!
Weekend 2: Chicken Coop Dyeworks
Carol is also a local hand dyer and her color palette is very vibrant and vivacious!! Knit Dallas currently carries her Sock yarn (Foghorn), 100% Silk fingering (Quail), and Crown Feathers DK (70% Merino/30% Silk. She will be showing off some of her other beautiful bases during the crawl!!
Carissa Browning has done it again!! Last year she designed two gorgeous shawls for us (one knit and one crochet) in our custom Neighborhood Fiber Company Rustic Fingering. This year she designed two beautiful cowls - The Lakewood Cowl (again one crochet and one knit) in our custom colorways of Plied Yarns North Ave - Orchard Project and Egg Custard. The patterns each take one skein of North Ave + one North Ave bobbin. We will have kits available for purchase during the crawl.
